YOGA FOR PREVENTING ASTHMA-


Asthma is a chronic lung disease that inflame or swollen and narrows the respiratory tract in the lungs--







 Some yogic asapas that are recommended for people sufferings from asthma are as  follows -::

Sukh Asana -::

1-In this we sit similar to sitting in a simple crosslegged position. 

2-Cross your legs such that your right foot is beneath the left knee and left foot is beneath the right knee.

3-Place your hands on your with palm facing downwards.

4-Close your eyes and breath normally.

5-Relax your whole body and maintain this posture for sometime 

6-Open your eyes and come back to the initial position.






Contraindication-

Person suffering with joint problems of knee or ankle  should not do.


Chakra Asana ;-

Chakrasana or the wheel pose ,is  called so because when the  pose is assumed ,if resembles a wheel.Lie down on your back.Bend your knees so that the feet are flat on the floor and close to the buttocks.

Make  sure that your sole of the feet touches the floor.Bring both of your hands and keep it beneath the shoulders like  the fingers see the legs.

  Then slowly raise your hip , shoulder and the head from the floor.

  Then keep your neck loosely and bend your  back as much as possible.

  






Contraindication ::-

Person suffering from heart problems, ulcers ,hernia ,sciatica should avoid.



Gomukh Asaan.--   
 
can also mean lightness of the head or light in the head.

  

This  asaan gets its name because  when one is performing this asana , the body resembles a cow's face.

    

 The thighs and calves are replaced in such a way that they are wide at one end tapering  at the other.








Contraindication:-

Person with serve shoulder  problem should not do.
